Single Sided Deafness?
-B.A.H.A. is now available in Bondi Junction

Deafness in one ear is a handicap suffered by many. It may have been present since birth, the result of an accident, or due to an acquired illness such as mumps or other viral infection.

Single sided deafness also makes it impossible to localise sounds.

According to Bondi Junction audiologist, Celene McNeill, having one completely normal hearing ear and an opposite deaf ear creates a lot of problems hearing in group conversations and in background noise situations - a serious disadvantage at meetings and at social functions.

An innovative product called a Bone Anchored Hearing Aid, or B.A.H.A is a new solution to minimise the problems of single sided deafness.
